Find out how you can get involved and support our Nursery Schools and Children’s Centre.

Summer Fair

Our Parent Champions will be organising a Summer Fair on:

Saturday 8 June 2024, 11am – 2pm
at St Margaret’s Nursery School

An email has been sent with more information on how you can support this festive event.

We are excited to announce a generous donation of scooter accessories, including scooter helmets, from Micro Scooters. Micro Scooters are the number one choice for quality toddler scooters, making getting from A to B faster, cleaner, greener, healthier and more enjoyable.

Parent Champions

Our Parent Champions are invaluable as they not only volunteer to support the Stay and Play groups but act as advocates in promoting our services across the local community. They help to spread the word about the services we provide.

Our Parent Champions ran our first preloved market which was held on Saturday 30th September this was a great success and we made £175.00 for the school and Children’s Centre which will go towards resources! (Not bad for just two hours!) The Parent Champions have already started conversations on organising another event soon! If you are interested in becoming a parent champion please contact Sandie Jeetoo sjeetoo@beya.org.uk

Volunteering

If you can spare any time, once your child has settled in, we really enjoy and value having parents working with the children in the nursery. A regular weekly commitment for a morning or afternoon session works best for us and for you too. However, if you prefer to be more flexible, you will always be welcome, however long or short a time you can spare.
There might be a particular activity which you would like to do with the children, like reading stories, cooking or gardening, or we can suggest one.

Please come in and speak to us if you would like to get involved.

Ofsted Outstanding
  • Staff bring out the best in each and every child, using what they know about children’s interests to engage them.

    Ofsted

  • The school is a haven where children are safe. They play and learn so well together. Their behaviour is exemplary.

    Ofsted

  • It is no surprise to see how much children love learning here. This is a place where children’s imaginations flourish.
